Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) are substances that influence plant growth and development. They are used to enhance yield, improve crop quality, and manage plant size. PGRs are available in various formulations, often combined with pesticides to provide comprehensive plant care.

Examples of PGR Products:

1. AGRIVENTURE TRIACON - 1LTR: This product contains Triacontanol 0.1% EW, a PGR known to enhance vegetative growth and increase drought resistance. It's recommended for crops like cotton, chilies, rice, tomato, groundnut, and potato. The formulation is highly soluble in water, ensuring quick absorption when sprayed on leaves. The suggested dosage is 30 ml in 15 liters of water.

2. HPM STAR: Containing Paclobutrazol 23% w/w (25% w/v) SC, this systemic growth regulator inhibits gibberellin biosynthesis, leading to controlled vegetative growth. It's used on fruit trees to improve fruit set, on ornamentals to inhibit growth, on rice to increase tillering and yield, and on turf to retard growth. Application methods include foliar spray, soil drench, or trunk injection.
